A vector font that visualises the binary representation of ASCII characters using rounded, flowing shapes. A follow on to the bitmap BAFS font.
BAFR comes in two variants that differ in how they identify which dots are active for dots around the edge that will dirrectly connect with surrounding characters.
Uses small dots to indicate the presence of a line. And is updated with simpler shapes that don’t overlap unintentionally.
Uses diagonal connections to indicate the presence of a dot.
Both variants share the same underlying binary encoding and flow-line design for active bits - they differ only in how they resolve ambigious shapes.
